Everything seemed to be reasonably priced, and we took notes about pieces that we would like to purchase during a future visit. The only down side was the sales woman who essentially tailed us through the entire store, even after we told her we would not be making a purchase that day. We eventually left without looking at the last two sections because we felt too pressured.
I purchased a sectional and ottoman from Value City Furniture. I also purchased the protection plan for the furniture because the sales representative told me that if you don't use it you would be given some of your money back. I called to be told that my furniture is not under warranty anymore that it was only for a year. However the fabric protection is for 7 years. I will not be purchasing any thing else from this store. I was told one thing by the sales representative that now I find out is not true. Take your money and spend it somewhere else.
The couch was delivered by their third party service company, Rapid Response. Rapid Response's delivery personnel did not check the product when they delivered and one of the plastic feet covering a bolt was missing. Unbeknownst to us, the bolt was gouging our hardwood floor. Value City provided no help in this matter since they pass the risk off on Rapid Response. Therefore, do not expect Value City to stand by their products. Rapid Response's insurance company, American Family Insurance, will also acquit their client of responsibility.
I understand that the sales team makes commission on purchases, but the pressure of being followed did not give us a chance to relax enough to picture any of the furniture in our home.
They have nice trendy looking furniture but I'm not sure about the quality
I had the best experience at this location. Super friendly staff, knowledgeable and accommodating. I will be a repeat customer.
We stopped in to Value City to browse for our new home. We are still not sure what we will be putting in each room, so we were not ready to purchase this weekend. Upon walking in we were pleased to see such a large selection and an organized layout.
