It's fun going here to learn how much it would cost to transform your whole house room by room. It's even more fun to grab your S.O. and explain why you think this will be the end of your relationship if they insist on buying that IKEA bed.
Super clean, awesome store. Very spacious and lots of stuff to pick from. Staff is always nearby and usually helpful. The cafe is great and moves fast. Pretty fun experience if you just want to window shop, grab some breakfast or lunch, or to actually buy furniture. Good place for a long trip, but you can easily be in and out with an item or two in 10 minutes.
They have everything for your home. And I mean everything except for the structure.
If you haven't been to an IKEA, you must check it out. I have only been once, in St. Louis, but it's like an amusement park for adults.
Such an interesting store. Museum-like qualities on the "showroom" upper level (which is also where all the kid stuff is and the main cafeteria), while all the practical items are on the main "marketplace" level. It took me a few trips to figure out navigation. Smaland (actual spelling) allows you to drop of your young-yet-potty-trained kiddos for an hour of hassle-free shopping. My 5-year-old LOVED this. Can't beat their cafeteria prices and they have a kid-friendly eating area with busy-boxes and a TV playing kid shows. This is really a family-supported shopping experience.
Try out the cafe, which is surprisingly good, and then get ready for round 2 of shopping.
Organized, well kept and has all the usual delights IKEA has to offer in the heart of Saint Louis. Good selection of home goods. Friendly employees when I've had to return things and check out at the end of my shopping trips... Good food in the cafe also.
The layout is kinda weird. You follow a simgle path through store into zones like living rooms, bedrooms and so on.
If you have a whole day to waste that is how long it will take. Fun time.
