Took my money, didn't fix the problem. I brought my car in and asked them to repair the ac. Three days later they told me the only problem was a blown fuse. Charged me $125 which I had no problem with. A few days later the fuse blew again, I took a look and it turns out they replaced a 10 amp with a 30 amp. Not only is that just masking the problem but it's dangerous. I decided the fix the real problem myself, changed the compressor (it had a bad coil), now the problem is solved. I went back to them and explained that you can't replace a 10 amp with a 30 amp and asked for my money back. It seemed like they didn't even understand what they did wrong. They refused to give me a refund. Lesson learned, just fix it yourself and don't bring your car to these guys.
Terrible.. Employees are not accountable for their mistakes.. Keep track of what is wrong before you take your car to them.. I would never go back or recommend to anyone... Don't waste your time or money..
-Update: I filed a dispute with these guys through my credit card company and was given a full refund.
I have an old car, almost 17 years old, which I purchased new. I have taken this old Saturn to Lawler and Balthasar since the beginning, and have always been pleased with my experience. They are very competent, friendly, and reliable. I wouldn't dream of going anyplace else for repairs and maintenance.

These guys are honest. They do the work they say they are going to do. If there is additional work, they give credit for their prior work in solving more complex problems. I have worked with people for thirty five years as a Registered Nurse. I know when truth is a value for people. These guys are the real deal.
