Wonderful, WONDERFUL place. I've been coming here for everything from oil changes to new belts and brake pads, and everything in between.
I'm new to St. Louis and was nervous about going someplace new. I went in for an oil change and to have them check out a squeak. I felt like they were really fair and did not pressure me to fix anything right away. They were really nice about explaining technical car stuff to me (I only have basic car mechanical knowledge). They even gave me a discount on my oil change for my first time and told me they would send me coupons in the mail.
Most memorably awesome service experience: two days before my husband and I got married, the brakes on our car went out (like, OUT out). I was in the neighborhood, so I drove the car straight to Fyler Auto. They arranged for me to get a ride back to my apartment, fixed the car the next day so my husband and I had it for our wedding day. Drove it on our honeymoon and back, with no problems!
Can't say enough good things about these guys, and that is high praise from me when it comes to auto repair. They've never tried to cheat us, never been offended when we balked at a price and taken it to a friend instead, and never pressured us to get a near-dead car off their lot. I won't trust my car to any other mechanic.
We'll keep coming back here, as long as we can!
Quite a while ago Toyota put the hub cap on one of my tires back on wrong. I thought I was getting a flat tire, because of the terrible sound. I got out and could see the hub cap was not all the way on (crooked), but I could not pull it off. I stopped here, and I think they were actually closed (or just about to close) and it was a hot day, but the young man in the shop took the hub cap off and put it back on the way it should have been (even). He charged me nothing and was very nice about it.
Staff at Fyler Auto are dependable, honest, and helpful. They have _never_ pressured me to buy anything I don't need, routinely provide excellent service, and are just good people. There are times when they could have easily ripped me off, told me something was broken or needed replacement since I don't have much mechanical knowledge-- and they never have. They've honored coupons that were expired. I always go to Fyler Auto and heartily recommend them. Plus it's awesome to support local business.

I was happy with the customer service from the employees that I interacted with. It can be hard to feel confident walking into an auto repair shop when you have limited knowledge. They did not make me feel stupid when I asked them to repeat what they said or clarify. They pulled out some diagrams so they had a visual while they spoke.
