My experience with Laclede Cab was horrible. I was in an unfamiliar area when I called the service, so I was a bit uneasy. I waited 15 minutes for my taxi for the driver to be rude and insulting. I exited the car then called to request a new driver, the dispatcher told me they wouldn't be sending me a new taxi because I refused to pay before getting me to my destination. She hadn't even pulled off from my pick up location. "You may not have the funds to pay your fair." The driver told me, She stereotyped me as soon as I got in her vehicle. . She made up an amount and said that's what she needed. Each time I've called a taxi, day or night no one has ever done me like this. This was about 8pm and the taxi number was 1031. I will NEVER use or recommend Laclede Cab again.
If there was a way to rate zero stars, I would. I waited an hour for a cab that never showed up. It's 33°F outside and I walked home. Laclede is awful.

Dispatch was efficient, courteous and the rate from St. Louis airport to Illinois was very reasonable, even at 12:20a.m.
Well I gave them the benefit of the doubt til they made me late for work several times. I call early enough so I won't be and three times I have been late waiting 40 mins in the cold for them with no notification from them. It's terrible because they have good rates but horrible service
Drivers have no idea where they are going and its very annoying when I have to tell them directions. Also Booking online was reliable up until recently, my driver did not show up to my location at all so I called to see what happened to my order and they told me I was already picked up. They filed a complaint and put me on a priority list for a pickup. I waited for the new cab for fifty minutes till I decided to call another company (that came immediately). All of this made me a hour late for work. I am so done with their services.
