Amazing store. Visited from Kansas City and he staff was very helpful, even allowing us to eat lunch on the outside patio while the dogs hung out. Lafayette Square is a cool district and this is a one of a kind pet store in the area.
Perfect tubs for an extremely large German Shepherd. Amazing shampoo and cleaning products. Drying station is perfect.
Update: Now a pet owner. Still love this place: local, quality products. Not a ton of selection / can get a bit pricey, but their one-on-one attention is fantastic.
Our dog was incredibly filthy after a day of hiking and swimming. We arrived just after normal bath time hours. Josh saw the panic in our eyes and in our filthy dog and graciously let us use a tub. Although we weren't surprised by the exceptional customer service, we did want to let everyone know this went above and beyond!
Best place to bring your dog for a quick wash. The tubs are always ready and setup for my large dog. The staff is always so nice and ready to answer any questions you might have. They have a huge selection of treats and food( even local stuff!). I will say I have not tried their grooming service but have no doubt its also top notch. Great to go to a place place that really cares about you pet just as much as you do.
Original: Yowza. Even as a non-pet owner, this might be one of my favorite new places. (I've still got friends' animals to buy for right?) It was a busy Saturday with lots of grooming appointments but the employees were not too busy to show me some treat options. The fresh stuffed looked so tasty even I wanted to eat it.
