The room was clean but very blah, and ours had a view of the rooftop ventilation system. :-(

My husband and I have stayed here several times, and enjoy the food at the Tenderloin room along with the drinks and atmosphere of the recently revamped Chase Club. The bygone charm of the 20's is present throughout the building's architecture and decor. We have never had a bad stay here and the rooms and services are outstanding. My only complaint would be that twice I have been disappointed by the salon. There are many other boutique salons in the area however, and it is only a minor inconvenience to utilize them instead. The Chase will surely continue to be one of our go to places when we stay in the city.
I would have given 5 stars if the room had a better view and a little more oomph.

This was a beautiful and comfortable hotel. My suite was extremely spacious and fully featured. The front desk staff was courteous and helpful. There were good local restaurants a few blocks away, easily within walking distance. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

The Tenderloin Room is a steakhouse that is simply second to none. Ask about the old speak easy too!! More than a bed and a shower, The Chase supplants what has become the modern hotel with what a hotel should be. An exercise in accessible opulence, with high ceilings, marble everything, more than a few large lobby areas and corridors you could drive a car through its also well appointed with a gift shop, flower shop, shoe shine, a number of restaurants/bars, a pool, a movie theatre and even a guest laundry if you so desire, all on site. Stepping through the revolving door will take you back a few decades to a time when hotels and their staffs were meant to be an extension of your home. The CHASE, simply stated, is not a destination. The Chase is an experience.
