My husband brought in jewelry to be estimated. The woman offered him $60 for the two items. He ended up getting $175 for the two items at another place. Don't sell jewelry here, they low ball you.
My husband and I purchased my wedding ring from these guys, and the lady that assisted us was an older lady and she was more then helpful. I've always used this place to pawn things and all my experiences haven't always been as pleasant but she was very welcoming and discounted my wedding ring as well . The ring originally was 2,000 and my husband bought earrings that was 500 and she knocked 300 dollars off both items. So we basically got the earnings free . Also I went somewhere else to have my jewelry appraised and both items was worth what we spent so I'll be going in for a upgrade soon and hopefully my visit be as pleasant as the last one
This is the largest pawn shop that I have shopped. I never borrow money and simply go to pawnshops when I need to find a great deal on jewelry or firearm. It is a must see store! The deals are endless because the store is so huge. The staff is courteous and professional. I would recommend this Jewelry store. I have stopped by recently to borrow money again on my hand gun and jewelry and received exactly what I needed to get some critical bills covered.
I have not been to very many pawn shops but the ones I have been to I have had no problem with until today when I went here to Southside Jewelry and Loan. I had a Tablet that was in perfect condition, a 20$ case that has been on it since day one, a screen protector (also been on it since it first came out of the box), the original box, and charger. The tablet is flawless. I looked it up before I went in to see new and used prices and I could not find one under 130$ new the lowest prices were a little over 200$. I told them I needed 60$ and they said on Amazon they said was selling used for 80$ and offered me 20$. I asked them to show me and they couldn't. They were extremely rude and unprofessional. I tried to explain 20$ is ridiculous and they would mark it up to over 150$ and they said they would do 25$. I said screw this and the employee said f*** you. I left and went to First Cash Pawn. They were extremely nice and knowledgeable, made me feel comfortable, I had no problem getting 60$ they asked if I needed a little more even. I will never walk into Southside Jewelry and Loan again and I would not recommend this store to anyone. It is terrible.
Great shop, great guys. I always pawn my gun with them and have never had an issue. The interest rate is pretty low and it beats asking my family for a loan.
