The nurse Michelle is wonderful. She gets 5 stars. Another nurse hugged me on my way out.
I wish i could give zero stars. Currently here. My gf arrived via ambulance with symptoms of sharp, shooting pain in left arm and chest. As soon as the triage nurse hears she has anxiety, it's ruled a panic attack and decided no tests are needed, until i start to act like there's going to be a problem without further tests. In the 8 years I've known my girl, she's never had these symptoms associated with her anxiety. Then I'm told i have to leave the room so the doctor can talk to her. Not happy, but ok, just get her better.
Also, the tvs are very old, mounted 10 feet in the air and there are no remotes.
Three years ago I was brought into the ER by ambulance. I was in horrible pain and any movement was agony. The ER staff from the nurses to the techs treated me as gently as possible. I was admitted and had to undergo surgery for a major infection and bowel blockage. A Colostomy and a large hole in my abdomen was what I woke up to. During my two week stay I couldn't have asked for more caring or attentive people. This included the Doctor, Nursing Staff, Physical Therapy and Housekeeping. Thank you to the Staff in ICU. I wanted badly to go home the last few days but that wasn't your fault. Well, maybe it was, you took such great care of me I was so well I got bored. lol
BUT this is the worst experience I have ever had at an emergency room.
I will never go to this hospital again.
Everyone but the tech was incredibly rude and unprofessional. If we never come here again, I'll be beyond happy.
Emergency room very professional and friendly. Clean well taken care of rooms.
My spine is twisted. I am in excruciating pain. I am overweight. The ER Dr. repeatedly laughed while telling me that he won't help me at all because I'm too fat. He told me if I lived in North Korea I wouldn't have this problem because there's not as much food there.
Waited 4 1/2 hours to be sent down for a x-ray. Night staff took smoke breaks and crochet a sweater while I was waiting. Never again will I come here.
