Emergency room minimum 4 hour wait. So under staffed it is ridiculous. They do not care about veterans.
Some providers are great. Eligibility was a hot mess this morning. Thankfully, I was able to find Mr. Harris on the 5th floor.
This system is overloaded. I have been treated like an animal by multiple doctors at this facility.
The doctor here was very creepy and pushy without any concern of how uncomfortable he was making everyone. His name was King. The nurse practitioner, Rance was very rude and uninformative. There was a nurse in the hallway when I strolled out for a look for my specific nurse, she was snippy. When she asked me if I needed assistance I responded with I am confused and need help and clarity she snapped at me that they are in a rotation and need to see the people who have serious injuries. I am very disappointed that this place exists still. It's free and close. I guess you really get what you pay for. Or don't pay for.... sadly veterans are forced to come here for medical attention. And there are people here that can not even give you a morsel of respect when you served for them. I am highly disappointed at the service I received here at this facility. The only person who was someone that acknowledged or spoke to my wife and I with dignity and respect was Tiffany. She deserves more than to be surrounded by these awful people.
Been in St Louis since June of 2017, care here has been excellent, appointments have been amazingly fast. The only thing that has been slow is getting my Primary Care Doctor, but that hasn't kept them from having me seen by audiology, optometry, and getting two MRI's done. Got 1 of my MRI's same day, and the second took 5 days to get. All other appointments have been within 2 weeks. Still waiting to see my Primary care Doc, that is taking several months. I don't see them until January.
