Emily Adams was my doctor and I had had a terrible experience. The staff was very pleasant and welcoming and could answer my questions, but Emily was quiet different. I am so frustrated because I have been in so much pain and provided no help. She didn't ask me questions and didn't have me elaborate on my initial statements. This is my first time at an EMT, therefore it would have helped has she asked me to elaborate on areas of concern. I now need to go for a second opinion on my pain and go for another week with severe pain and lack of sleep due to said pain.

I will not be going back.

I had a great experience here. I had a sudden loss of hearing in my right ear while traveling, which, when I looked it up on Google, is described as a medical emergency. If a person has sudden neural hearing loss, it is imperative to take steroids immediately to prevent permanent hearing loss. So I went to an urgent care clinic in Houston where I was misdiagnosed with fluid in my ear. 10 days later, when my hearing had not returned, my wonderful St. Louis G.P. Dr. Greg Penilla referred me to St. Louis ENT suspecting accurately that it was sudden neural hearing loss. I saw Dr. Tara Ramachanda who diagnosed that after a simple hearing test, and then gave me a VERY aggressive course of treatment - a high dose or oral steroids plus steroid injections into the ear drum. After such a delay in treatment they were not expecting much improvement in my hearing, but I got about half my hearing back. Still not great, but way better than almost deaf in that ear. Plus everyone at the clinic was nice and they didn't make patients wait very long.
