Very happy with this rental. Arrived at the shuttle pickup point and an empty shuttle arrived within a couple minutes and left as soon as we boarded. I booked this rental through Costco Travel and when we arrived at the lot we went into the office. However, it turned out we did not need to do this and could go directly to pick out our car in the appropriate aisle, and then check out at the gate. When we returned the car it was really quick and the charge was about $40 less than the contract! I did not ask questions and perhaps it could be that we picked out a lower class of vehicle. Not sure why, but happy for the positive surprise. We have rented many times at this location and this was the best experience so far.

Alamo staff was friendly and the price was reasonable. My only concern was that the headlights on the car were misdirected such that we could only see about 100 feet in front of the car on regular beams. We had to drive the dark roads on high beams most of the time just to see. Once we almost hit a deer when our high beams weren't on. I did mention the problem to the return staff. I hope it was fixed. Otherwise, we had a very good experience.

Customer Service was the pits. But car was good.

I use to use Alamo for all my needs and switched to enterprise but forgot why. Now I remember. Do better with customer support.

I really enjoyed and appreciated their great customer service and nurturing environment and employees. I've been renting from Alamo for a few years. They make me feel special! I use to rent from National/Emerald but their prices went up to high. I also rent from Avis, who doesn't have that nurturing feel.

Great service, great car. My only criticism is the signage to return to Alamo. I took two wrong turns on a very confusing route. Some of that may be attributable to the airport, but the last sign at the corner where Alamo is located is very ambiguous and clearly put up by Alamo. A clear sign prior to ( instead of on the other side of the intersection) the necessary turn, would be very useful.

The check was very slow. I paid for Sirius and it was never activated. I flew into the wrong airport, 6 hours away and when I called about a 1 way drop off, to the airport 2 hours away, it would have cost me $487.88 vs my $128 for the 4 days. Now I expect a higher bill but that was ridiculous!! Now get this, if I returned the car on day 2, and picked up a new car or rechecked out the same car, my total bill would have been $187. So, I lost 4 hours with my son who was deploying son (2 hour there and back) to save the additional $200. As my trip was already very costly, last minute flight, cost to change flight and cost to change car.
