Wish I would have found Dr O years ago.....I only got the opportunity to have one visit with Dr O but he is miles above any other vet I have dealt with for Mr Bigglesworth.....everyone I worked with at Rock Rd Animal Hospital were all so helpful and professional from the receptionist to the Dr that did the euthanization....Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your love of animals and all you do for them......I wish there were more offices like yours out there. Thank you so much.
That being said I have been going here for 6 years and this has never been an issue. Her demeanor and attitude were unwarranted and I will take my business elsewhere.
My daughter called me crying that they would not release her puppy to her. They were very unprofessional and down-right rude. If you treat people like that I can't imagine how you treat animals. What a shame!
Up until this evening I have loved this animal hospital. This evening started with a phone call which was promptly answered. I asked about comfortis for my 3 dogs. I discovered a flea this evening and wanted to act quickly. The lady on the phone explained that comfortis is only available on the online pharmacy. She explain another drug and went on to ask about the dog sizes and breeds. Which I quickly gave her. I told her that I would be there in just a few moments. I entered the animal hospital and was greeted by a vet tech. I gave her my last name and dogs names. She abruptly stated that since one of our dogs had not been seen at the vet that she could not distribute the medication.
I went to pick up my 8 month Italian greyhound who had surgery and was told I could not take him home. A sectertary said I was not on the account. Yet earlier that week my partner and I were there and gave my information. I was treated with such disrespect for merely wanting to take my dog home.Finally after having to wait for an hour he was finally released to me after being verbally assaulted by suregeon tech.Who threatened to not give him back to me and stated that he was not mine. I will never be going back there with my precious animals.
I came in as a walk- in November 1 close to 4 that evening. The lady that was at the desk didnt seem happy that i was there and made me feel very unwelcomed for my first visit. She was not at all friendly. I sit and wait for 1 hour for my cat Shadow to be seen. There were two other people that came in as walk ins as well. They came in AFTER me but their pets got seen BEFORE mines! Went to the desk and turns out that they just put my paperwork down and didnt even register me in their system!! Finally went in the back and the vet Doyle was extremely friendly to me and my kitty. My cat was being seen for a possible stroke or seizure. Turns out i was right! Doyle felt my cat up and down and told me everything was NORMAL and nothing seemed out of the ordinary. They prescribed my cat with some Clavanox antibiotics which was for INFECTION. What does that have to do with a seizure or stroke treatment? Well guess what? My cat passed away 2 days after being on that medication!!!!!!!!! Remember when i said she told me my cat was healthy? Why is it that he is gone now and why is it that he is gone after taking that medicine? I...NEED...ANSWERS NOW!
