I've known the owners of Michel Funeral home for a long time. They are very caring and special people. And though I'd never needed the services they offer through the funeral home, I knew they would be there for me when the time came. Then, a year ago on Aug 16, my Dad passed away. It was very sudden and I was at a loss for all I needed to do. I reached out to Calvin and Chris for help. All I knew was that previous arrangements had been made with Washington University for my Dad's body to be donated to science - something him and my mother always wished to do. Calvin and Chris walked me through everything I needed to do. They took great care in making sure my Dad's body was transported to Wash U and helped me obtain the necessary documents to take care of everything. What a comfort it was to know all was taken care of and I didn't need to worry about anything. How nice to also know that when it comes time to do the same for my mother, they will be there for me. Most people don't take the time to prepare ahead of time for funeral services or transport services, but it's something we all will have to go through at some point in our lives. Know that you will be in very competent and caring hands with Michel Funeral Home and you can trust they will be there for you every step of the way.

It's not too often you see good reviews for funeral homes because everyone wants a bad review to most definitely be heard. Chris and Calvin of Michel Funeral Home are very passionate about what they do. They allow you to say goodbye to your loved one with out feeling rushed or like your just someone off the assembly line. Every other Funeral Home has to pressure sell things because that is where the money is made. At Michel, that's not what they are there for. They have a true heart for it and they are experienced. They treat everyone as if they were their own family. I love this funeral home, it's the most affordable one in the entire St. Louis and St. Charles area. If you decide to use Michel Funeral Home in the future, I can reassure you, it will be a pleasant experience.
The owners of Michel Funeral Home, Calvin and Chrissy, since their purchase of their Funeral home are constantly doing things at their funeral home for the local community. We enjoyed their Halloween get together they had for their clients, friends and neighbors. They have stepped up more than once to help individuals who were in financial need with their arrangements. These two are the best - please support this fine organization and its selfless owners.
