The "chicken breast" is actually a thigh with an extremely small bone-in breast that's fried (maybe 2oz of meat at most). The "root vegetables" are actually a pile of quinoa with a few diced carrots. The asparagus was wilted. This plate alone is $19.
Very slow service. Waiter would put stuff on the table, and just leave without checking in. Only refilled one of our parties drink. He literally didn't know the difference between chicken and pork. He put a plate with a pork chop on it, and said "Here's your chicken". We even clarified with him that I had chicken and not pork. He still called the pork "chicken."
I will definitely not be returning to this "restaurant."
Good thing thing the breakfast buffet was included with the overpriced room because I would not have paid extra. The featured item was biscuits & gravy. I found some biscuits at the end of the pastery table next to a castiron pot on a hot plate filled with what could best be described as boiling buttered water with chunks of sausage stuck to the bottom. I never did find the gravy. I did however find butter for my biscuit across the room at the end of the fruit bar. The bacon was pleantiful, but was apparently leftover from the last time Paul McCartney played Busch stadium. The coffee was hot, but it was Starbucks so you draw your own conclusions there. On a positive note, the ice water was clear and came in a glass filled with ice and there was no surcharge for the utensils, plates or napkins. Fail.
The staff was very nice, however our steaks were cold to the touch when we got them. We send them back and we had ordered them medium and they came back warm but still medium/rare and then potatoes were cold. Two tables that came in well after us were served before us. We went here for convenience because we stayed at Hyatt but we will not waste our money next time. Service was very slow.
All of the above go great with the waffles.
Awesome sausage gravy, cinnamon spiced blueberry compote, strawberry compote.
Menu also said all eggs are cage-free.
Many options including omlets and Belgian waffles made to order by friendly and attentive cook staff.
Breakfast buffet was excellent. Hostess polite and friendly.
Best breakfast buffet I've had at a restaurant... ever. Everything is simply outstanding. You can get custom-made omelets prepared right in front of you, and they even have chicken sausage, which is great for me because I have a pork allergy.
