Neat place. Looks great from outside, inside has a bulk food look. You can pretty much get anything you need here. Basics, specialties, fresh seafood. Seems quite authentic. The smell of fish was present, but it wasn't bad at all.
Absolutely love this place, great place to go for traditional Asian food, drink and other products, Olive Supermarket and Seafood City across the street are gems in the rough.
This place is s perfect example of the lumps in the melting pot. Employees speak very little, if any, English. Signs in English are few and far between and they appear to have absolutely no wish, want, need or desire to cater to English, Anglo customers.
Great selection of foreign foods from all over Asia. Some of the frozen food is past its expiration date, so watch out. I just wish they treated their live fish, frogs, and turtles better in back. I know they're to eat, not pets, but that doesn't mean they should have to spend their lives stuffed in cramped, freezing tanks.
Recently renovated on the outside, but the inside is still very much the same. I used to come here all the time. It has a large selection and good prices. Unfortunately, the checkout times take forever, and the cashiers can be very picky -- wouldn't even give me an extra plastic bag to carry my stuff. Ever since Seafood City opened across the street, I go there instead -- bigger place, much faster checkout, similar prices.
