I love Busch Stadium! I've had the opportunity to sit in 5 different locations and they all had great views! Their promotions are fun, fireworks night is memorable, and the variety of food is fantastic. They gave vegan, vegetarian, gluten free and organic options located through out the different levels of the stadium. It's handicapped accessible with ramps, elevators, and escalators. There are ticket/seat locating staff to help if you can't find your seats (or get people out of your seats). The vendors are friendly and helpful. The concessions can be pricey but I've seen it higher at other stadiums. Parking can be close within Ballpark Village and there's a garage across the street, both with fees. Or there are many places to board a park and ride or uber. It's definitely a stadium you have to experience for yourself.
A great family experience! Always a clean environment with efficient and helpful staff. Great signage that tells you how to get where you want to go. Many polite and professional guides posted at all possible turning points to help you get to your seats, preferred dining booths or the bathrooms! All the walkways are kept clean and neat. There's discreet monitoring of people and activities that pretty much ensure polite behavior by all, without a lot of public display. The management does a lot of work to ensure a pleasant expirence is had by all! Thank you!
We enjoyed the game a lot but I really wish they would have let us bring in our water bottles. It was July and we have to leave then outside the gate. The water they sell is $5 a bottle and in July we all went through several bottles. We paid plenty for these tickets and then souvenirs, let's not price gouge on water. Some people might not have that extra $30 Just to spend on water and they would have been in trouble if not staying well hydrated on this day.
Beautiful stadium! Everything immediately around this area is perfect as you’d expect because we worship athletes in America and pay them millions to play a child’s game. Rather then use the money generated here to better the surrounding city, fund education, etc St. Louis and the team owner(s) have chosen to leave it alone doing the absolute minimum for tax benefits/publicity and I like that. “Keepin’ it real.” Just a short walk in all directions are some beautiful bombed out - looking empty buildings dotting the city landscape. Take in the artwork all over the city and don’t forget to bring spray paint to leave some yourself. IF you can find a spot that hasn’t been tagged. Really looks inviting to tourists or businesses that may want to move here. Just as much to blame are the city residents who put up with it. Come watch a game, enjoy the scenery and take home a car load of apathy.
The new stadium is an enormous improvement over the old Busch stadium. I loved the views from the bottom to the top. The decision to leave the outfield open for a spectacular view of down town St. Louis and the Arch was pure genius. After the game, ballpark village is amazing, and downtown is only a hop and a skip away. It's honestly one of the best things to happen to St. Louis in awhile.
