I wonder when they added black to the school colors it used to be green and white. I guess this happened after the desegregation program. Most of the school is run by Arabs now so it figures. Melville High during the 1970s was a very bad school. It hand no air conditioning like others and teachers would not let you open the windows when they had a fan, it had a cafeteria but the food was only for the teachers and students had to get food elsewhere. Bullying was a constant and teachers would laugh when they seen someone being attacked. The school had a lot of racist Arab teachers like Ron L Jones a bisexual coach and later principle.
Meh, a pretty okay school. Nobody really bullys you but some of the teachers can be a bit strict. Food is pretty great and so is the teaching.
Junior year this place sucks there are cock roaches everywhere. And the food sucks
got stuck here for summer school. i mean tony was there so it was actually god level. 10/10 would go to summer school for a whole month and a half and get essentially free credits.
The district fails to care about the programs that actually do stuff and win awards. I am in the band and the district has now blocked us from performing at the middle and elementary schools. This prevents us from recruiting new members, and I am disappointed that they want to get rid of us.
