Was a little disappointed today in our visit to say the least. We don't live near a Cheesecake Factory, so when we have the opportunity to go, it is usually a treat. I couldn't find my favorite Luau salad on the menu and our waiter said that the Chinese Chicken salad was very similar. It was certainly not and I showed my dissatisfaction by saying that I wished they wouldnt have gotten rid of the Luau salad, it was definitely better. He said, sorry you feel that way and walked away. My daughter had ordered a meal that was supposed to include Alfredo sauce on noodles instead of just plain dry noodles and when we asked our waiter, he said "No, it didn't come with it." So, I went back up to the desk to get a menu to look at what we had ordered and it clearly stated that it had Alfredo on it. Another gentleman took her plate that she had already eaten off of, mixed Alfredo with her noodles and returned the same plate. The rest of our visit, our waiter was short and didn't speak to us and never apologized for any misunderstandings. I understand mistakes happen and it's the holidays and it's busy, but when people pay for an expensive meal, I expect decent service and at the very least an apology of some sort. This will most likely be the last time we visit.
Every other time we've been there the staff was super friendly. I was disappointed this time.
The waitress, Rebecca, didn't refill our drinks, seated us at a table that wasn't cleaned off - it still had the previous customer's receipts on the table. She never checked on us, but the waiter waiting on people near us was fantastic! He engaged his customers, took a few pix for them, refilled their drinks and was friendly.
Shrimp pasta took half an hour, and it's no wonder because they had to overcook it and then let it sit around and get cold. Based on the other reviews on this page, I see I can look forward to an apology and a promise that the issue will be raised with the staff. I'm wondering, however, if these issues are raised with the staff as often as claimed below, why the same problems persist. Unless no follow up is ever really executed. In which case, please don't ruin my dining experience and then lie to me.
The waiters have varied as far as service, but for the most part they're quick and efficient.
We had wonderful service today at the Cheesecake Factory. Adrian provided us with a wonderful meal. He was very interested, attentive, and proactive. I requested the dressing on the side of my Salmon Salad, when the server verified the preparation of said salad he learned that there is a citrus sauce that is applied to the salads made with kale. He advised me of this addition to the salad, and inquired if that would be acceptable, or if I would like to change my order. Again, he was a very competent and proactive member of the Cheesecake Factory team. The food, as always, was yummy!
The food was delicious. The greeter person that showed us to our table was not very pleasant. Maybe it was an inconvenience for her to show us to our table. Or that was how it seemed.
I've always had good experiences with the Cheesecake Factory. I distinctly remember wondering, almost every visit, if it's possible to get something that doesn't taste good at the Cheesecake Factory. I like to go for special occasions as well as just for the heck of it. It's really expensive, but the flavor and amount of food makes it feels like it balances out.
