Food was absolutely disgusting. The worst food I have ever paid for. Absolutely no flavor what so ever
The food was very flavorful! My friends said their pork chops were good, but a little tough. We also would like to see the staff be a little more cordial with each other. With that being said, we would definitely eat there again.
The young guy was multi-tasking, being the busboy and waiter. He did an excellent job. The line help was a little slow. This was doing a very busy week and more people should have been on the line. There were only two people on the front line.
The food is very good! The portions are generous and just has dat fam run business feel to it dat i really like everybody personable and helpfulthe guy dat made our plates also brang my mans food to da table cuz he seen he used a cain...thanks moms we will b bk
The food was very tasty. I enjoyed the ribs they were right off the grill. My chicken wings were not done on the inside, cabbage was seasoned well, collars not so much, mac and cheese was a little bland, oxtails were good. The pound cake, Caramel Cake and peach cobbler were delicious. The cherry kool-aid was the bomb and the sweet tea was good as well. Overall the food was good.
However, the plates should be carried to the back of the restaurant to be cleaned instead of up front. I believe that would eliminate the gnat problem.

I have visited mom's multiple times and it's usually good, however this visit was definitely the worst! It was only a few minutes after 11 AM there is no reason that they should have had so much old food out apparently they are re-serving dishes made the day before. Which would be fine if the food is still safe to serve the pork chop that I was served was black inside there is no way that they should've had this out to serve to anyone. I didn't notice because it was a smothered pork chop covered in gravy. But once I bit into it I definitely knew that it was old, very old, more than a day old. I informed a worker about the meat and he did replace my porkchop with some dumplings however the other old meat in the pan was not thrown out. I ended up leaving the dumplings as well because they were full of chicken skin like big chunks. I tried a stuffed pepper it was OK could've been season a little better and the red sauce tasted fresh out of the can it should've been seasoned as well. My husband had the baked chicken and it was cold. The best part of our meal was the Kool-Aid.
The owner needs to invest in his business by updating the establishment. The chairs, tables and especially the television. Purchase better napkins those are very thin and inexpensive. I had to use a lot of them because of the quality.
