Cheap good Vietnamese food made by a Vietnamese mom. Doesn't get much better than that.
Great Vietnamese food with a wide selection of beer and drinks. Comfortable atmosphere and friendly staff.
Was ok food with great service in an uncomfortable environment. Was kinda hot with bothersome flies. I can't begin to spell the dish I had but it was a seafood and noodle dish with clam sauce. It was ok. Not good. More like what you'd imagine if you bought canned Vietnamese food.
Coming from Vietnam just a bit ago I had a hankering for some pho... Mekong served their pho without the traditional basil or half the other required ingredients. It was unfortunate.
This is still my favorite place to eat after 20 years of dining there. I have countless great memories of hanging out at The Upstairs Lounge as well.
