Poelker Park is one of a series of six city parks in the Downtown of St Louis City. It’s age is back on 1986 and is named in honor of John Poelker, Mayor of St. Louis from 1974-1977.
Too Many homeless sleeping and leaving trash .
When you walk into this little beautiful park, you will find a monument to the firefighters of St. Louis: a bronze statue of a fireman carrying a little girl atop a granite base which "Dedicated to St. Louis firefighters past, present and future."
Nice park downtown that hosts events.
