Beautiful place for an outing or just a day outside with friends . they have pretty much anything you'd need to enjoy the outdoors from fountains to boats available for rent. It's filled with things to do. A museum as well as art hall it's also very educational as well as a great way to get some fresh air and enjoy the outdoor experience . Within walking distance to the zoo .

I absolutely love Forest Park. My favorite place to visit is the Grand Basin & Art Hill at night. The fountains and landscape are breathtaking. The park is very well maintained and is a great addition to Saint Louis. The museums & zoo are free to attend. The Muny has excellent performances throughout the season. The different Festivals (Balloon Glow, Fair St Louis, summer concerts, etc.) are outstanding. It's a must see!

I’ve been to many parks, and many Forest parks in particular, but I’ve never been to one as beautiful, as homey, or as free as this one. Home to the art and history museums, zoo, science center, Muny outdoor theatre, boathouse, two golf courses, recreational fields and courts, a skating rink, a stocked lake and other countless beautiful bodies of water, exquisite historical bridges and buildings, upscale restaurants, a gorgeous forest trail, and surrounded by some of the most historically interesting and wealthy neighborhoods in the city, this is truly the epicenter of the city. One of our final solid ties to our renowned past, the park remains our most beloved landmark, even before the Arch.

What isn't to love a out this amazing park. From the FREE zoo, art and history museum plus an amazing science center. This park has it all. The festival's are amazing. Shakespeare in the park is magical. The Muny is incredible venue for live theater. If you come to St. Louis this is a must see attraction.

Forest Park is so big and there's a ton to do for free. Museums and zoo are free. It's a nice place to lay out on the lawn, hammock, exercise, and have family gatherings. I've taken many study breaks to come to forest park and have fun. They also do special events every once in a while such as concerts or movie showings
