September 21, 2017, the store is small but carries a wide selection. They do need more space. Their prices are high with a just a few options in some items. I think some competition would ramp up the service and let them get serious about business.
I couldn't believe how amazing this place was. The service was of high quality. I'll be back for sure.
They have many cooking ingredients too. I frequently buy the Teff flour. I'm so happy I started shopping with them. I may have to buy some cassava from there in the very near future.
Great guy, great customer service, empathetic. Once I went there to shop, and while I was going from isle to isle, I accidentally dropped my hundred dollar bill. I went to check out and viola! No $100 bill to be found. Owner saw me searching all over my pockets for money to pay him, and when I told him I dropped my cash somewhere, he was like "here you go, my son found it on the floor." I thanked him and his son very much and left $10 for the son. Everyone went home happy. Oh, plus you're most likely to find everything(African) you need there. I highly recommend this store.
I gave them 5 stars because the staff and service was great. However, the owners need to improve on the cleanliness and way of billing/cashing out items. Punching in numbers without the customer knowing the price of the items beforehand is too antiquated.
