The worst I can't wait to get out of there. The police are unfriendly won't even speak to the children. They ticket you for anything, you can't even park in front of you own home where you pay taxes at without purchasing a village sticker. This village sticker thing is just another money grab. This Village needs to be dissolved. The Village Sticker is just another tax on the residents who've already paid taxes on their vehicles with the state. They don't maintain the vacant lots, the workers there have a terrible do nothing attitude, and they are full of excuses. If I could give them a negative I would.
I was dropping my daughter off at college, and now I fear for her due to the rudeness and DISRESPECT of the police that ticketed us. We were lost and trying to follow g.p.s. Which kept losing signal, he didn't care, he was very nasty and smart-mouthed! He was near a church (black congregation ) it seemed like he was stalking the late-comers, and this was his usual practice so be careful Sunday worshippers! Jackson Street speeding ticket $130.00! REDICULOUS! Pretty obvious that if you're in the right (caucasion) part of town you can drive fast as you want and nobody gets pulled over! Next time I won't go down Jackson Street, just stay in WashU area for safety measures! And by the way you polices need to practice your penmanship if you're going to continue writing bogus tickets! Had to Google to get court info.
