Called to reserve several lanes and the party room. Our group usually spends several hundred dollars here. Was told, and I quote, "I'm not even near the front desk, we're not open yet! I'm wayyyy back in the machines." To which I replied... "Should I call back later then.." The older gentleman rudely said, "I would!" Guess our big group will be finding a new place to bowl. Completely rude and unprofessional.
I go to Sunset Lanes on most Wednesday, as always I enjoy it. I bring my mom who is 90 and we meet my brother. We love the mini tacos, and raviolis at the snack bar. The staff is an excellent crew very polite and friendly. We love Sunset Lanes.
Visited on a Thursday after school, bowled two games, and enjoyed a light snack and beverages. Food was excellent, pretty amazing for a bowling alley. The service from the check-in, to the drinks and food, to the guy maintaining the lanes was top notch. I was amazed that each employee I came in contact with (5 total) were so very helpful and genuinely NICE. This was my first visit to Sunset Lanes and we'll definitely be bringing the family back. As we were closing up our lane and headed towards the door, a manager greeted us and asked us how our visit was. I was very surprised by this extra level of service. Great job Sunset Lanes!
Sunset Lanes has the best Friday evening deals! $1.25 a game and $2.50 shoe rental. We go all the time! The staff is friendly and there are always open lanes. The snack bar food is decent enough, it's a bowling alley so it isn't like you should expect 5 star food. It's bowling alley food and ok prices. I can't comment on the car bc I go with my kids so can't say how the atmosphere or prices are. The only negatives, which really aren't bad: they don't have enough lighter balls for kids or people like me who need an 8 lb ball, the snack bar soda is super expensive, and they don't wax the floors enough. But these things are no big deal when you can spend an evening with your family for $20. We go all the time and will continue to!!!
