Fabulous little bookstore. They have a wonderful selection of books. Handwritten suggestions for some favorite titles are scattered about the shelves, making book browsing an even more personal experience.
Super friendly staff, great selection, great atmosphere. Prices were a little higher than I'm used to paying for books, but still a great experience
Best place in STL to buy your books! The staff are friendly and are always available if you have any questions or if your up for suggestions on a book they are happy to assist with that as well. The prices are a bit higher then your local Barnes & Noble however you're paying for a more personalized and tailored experience. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND coming to Subterranean Books for all your reading needs!
Love the feel of this bookstore. A bit of a smaller selection, but they still have tons of options and cover every genre. They even have literary t-shirts, mugs, and pins too. The loyalty program is a great reason to keep shopping here, in addition to the friendly and helpful staff.
Love to shop at local bookstores and I have a distinct fondness for this one. I love the atmosphere and decorations, they have a decent selection of books for the size of the store.
